Lion vs. Crocodile vs. Buffalo

I don’t usually do blog posts just about videos I find online, but this one is really remarkable. It’s long — more than 8 minutes — but it’s amazing. I’ve never seen an exchange quite like it, not even on the Discovery Channel.

The video starts out with a few water buffalo approaching a water hole, with a pride of lions stalking them nearby. They have their eyes on a young buffalo calf, and they strike quickly. But before the video is through, they will face a crocodile and a full herd of angry adult buffalo. Watch the whole video — it gets more incredible towards the end. The filming is extremely amateur, but you can still see things pretty well.
