Strange alergy

Allergy: Sensitivity to something in lake or river water

Symptoms: Itchy, red eyes and severe nasal and sinus congestion

Who has it: Me, apparently.

How it was discovered: The hard way, after I went wakeboarding for the first time, wiped out hard several times, and then was miserable for the next three days.

Chance of recurrence: High, since we have family with a motorboat. Good thing there are cheap versions of Claritin available.
