Oops!

Bloomberg is reporting that swine flu (or H1N1 or hinney or whatever you want to call it) may have been created in a lab as an inadvertent result of producing vaccines and other pharmaceuticals. Creepy! This has the makings of a great Michael Crichton novel, were he still alive to tell the tale.

On the up side, if this is true, it may give us yet another reason to hate Big Pharma.
